My apologies for not posting recently. So much has been going on this month, personally, politically, socially, as I’m sure it is for all of you reading this. (Assuming anyone is, at this point! ).
At any rate, something we should all be outraged about, and incessantly flooding our elected officials in-boxes about, is the on-going attacks and kidnappings of our neighbors by ICE and ICE-costumed bounty hunters.
ICE, and people claiming to be ICE agents, continue their attacks, and in fact Reuters today reported that

I’ve been following the activitiy — and there’s been a lot of it — in the south Metro and SE MN. There’s obviously a lot more happening throughout the entire metro and state. ICE is showing up at workplaces, schools, homes… pretty much anywhere they can, and violently arresting immigrants and citizens, protesters and bystanders, spraying them with tear and pepper gas, (and other chemical agents), breaking down windows and doors, pointing loaded guns at peoples heads.
We are looking at trying to organize a group or groups to go to the Whipple Federal Bldg at Ft. Snelling to protest. Please email us to let us know if you would be interested in joining this.

That will take you to a page with background information and sample scripts. It will also, (if you give it your location) give you the name and contact numbers for our senators and representatives.
CALL THEM. And not only them, but other reps for Minnesota, locally, state-wide, and nationally, and let them know where you stand. (For instance, why does Tom Emmer support calling his constituents “garbage”, and violently separating them from their families????”)

Calling, and writing, representatives is one of the best, most direct, and easiest actions you can take. If they don’t hear from us, then they can ignore us. If they don’t hear from us, we are complicit in accepting their actions.
This will get a lot worse before it gets better. If we don’t stay active in our resistance and opposition, then we have given our future to the Oligarchs and the Kleptocracy.
